Efi Funck
Efi Funck was born in Athens. She has pursued studies in painting, ceramics, sculpture, and micro-sculpture both in Greece and abroad, including at the University of Hong Kong (Department of Fine Arts) and the Maximilian University of Munich, Germany. She has organized seven solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 150 group exhibitions in Greece and internationally, including in Germany, Italy, Cyprus, and India. She is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and the Association of Greek Ceramists, and has received numerous distinctions in competitions and exhibitions. She has designed sets and costumes for theatrical productions and other performances. Her artistic practice is distinguished by the complexity of materials and techniques she employs and it is characterized by a deep sensitivity and appreciation for both humanity and nature.
